Magical Apothecary Garden

The Magical Apothecary Garden was commissioned by Newcastle Gateshead Initiative as part of their Enchanted Parks programme in December 2013. Over 18,000 audience members explored our magical garden within the park, where ancient chemists mixed medicine and plant food that spread all the magic around Saltwell Park at night. Drawn from three ancient sets of trees within the garden, the Apothecaries mixed potions, sang songs to the trees and administered medicines to the plants.
